MATTHEW J. CREME, JR

Matthew J. Creme, Jr. is a 1977 graduate of Dickinson College and the Georgetown University Law Center, Class of 1980.

Mr. Creme leads the Municipal and Land Use Law Practice Group of the firm. The Group represents municipalities as well as developers of residential, commercial and industrial properties in Lancaster and the surrounding counties in Pennsylvania., Mr. Creme and other members of the Group serve as solicitor for a number of Townships, Boroughs, Zoning Hearing Boards, Authorities and Building Code Appeals Boards in Lancaster County and as special counsel to municipalities in the several counties of South Central Pennsylvania for land use and other municipal issues. He is also counsel to a number of community non-profits, including volunteer fire companies.

He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Lancaster and Berks County Bar Associations. He is a past President of the Lancaster Bar Association and Past Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. In June of 2009 Mr. Creme was elected Vice President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and served as its 117th President in 2011.

Mr. Creme also is active in the non-profit community of South Central Pennsylvania and has served as Board Chair of the American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley, the Lancaster County Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Lancaster Catholic High School. He also has served as a member of the Northeast Service Area Resource Council of the American Red Cross and in that position was responsible for coordinating and providing governance and planning counsel and advice to Red Cross Chapters in the nine states of the Northeast United States and in the Caribbean.

Matt and his wife, Diane live in Manheim Township and have three adult children
He frequently lectures on topics of land use and administrative law as well as on non-profit corporate governance.
