Established in 2003 as part of the school's 75th Anniversary celebration, the Alumni Citation awards program pays tribute to the remarkable men and women, who, throughout history, have distinguished themselves and brought honor to their Alma Mater. December 23, 2011 At its annual holiday celebration, Nikolaus and Hohenadel, LLP took time to recognize and honor 6 employees who have provided 20 or more years of full time service to the law firm. The honored employees included Ednamay Witmer, Marcia Mutzabaugh, Lucretia Nikolaus, Joeanne Meiskey, Michelle Smith and Donna Maus. October 3, 2011 Attorneys Angel Torres and Jeff Mills will present a seminar regarding the rights and responsibilities of injured workers under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act on October 15, 2011 at Centro Hispano, 545 Pershing Ave in Lancaster, Pa beginning at 10:00 a.m. It will cover topics including reporting the injury, treatment options, benefits payable, settlements, medical examinations, impairment rating evaluations and much more. Si usted se ha herido en el trabajo no puede perder este seminario. September 22, 2011 The Lancaster Bar Association Foundation has established the "Matt Creme Access to Justice Fund". The fund, named after Nikolaus & Hohenadel parter Matthew J. Creme, Jr., and current president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, will be used to further the mission of the Lancaster Bar Association Foundation to help fund programs that provide legal services and access to the legal system to low income individuals and families. Creme Jr., Esquire will assume the office of president-elect of the Pennsylvania Bar Association at the conclusion of the organization's Annual Meeting on May 14 in Hershey. Mr. Creme will serve as the 117th president of the 29,000-member state legal association in 2011. Mr. Creme served PBA Treasurer from 2005 until 2007 and as Zone Three Governor from 2000 until 2003 representing Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York county lawyers. He is a member of the PBA House of Delegates, the Berks County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Creme served as president of the Lancaster Bar Association in 2004. |
