Barbara is a general practice lawyer who concentrates on matters concerning small businesses, partnerships, corporations, federal contracts and intellectual property. She is also involved in the area of bankruptcy, employment, health care, real estate and estate planning.

She is active in a number of community organizations, including the Lancaster YWCA, the Lancaster Junior League and serves as a trustee of her church.

Barbara has been admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the Lancaster and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and holds membership in the American Bar Association and its Intellectual Property Section.

Born in Lancaster; Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Government from Franklin and Marshall College. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington University Law School, where she concentrated on federal procurement law. Prior to joining the firm she served a clerkship with the Honorable Ronald L. Buckwalter in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.

A resident of Northern Lancaster County, Barbara enjoys art collecting, drawing, reading, browsing in downtown shops and galleries, and spending time with her husband Jesse and children, Miranda and Alexander: On occasion, she also participates in Craft Days at the Pennsylvania Farm Museum.
